SAN ANTONIO - Lauren Lea is happy to be living and reporting in Texas again. She returned home after reporting for KARK 4 in Little Rock, Ark.
Lauren enjoyed getting to know the people of Arkansas and exploring the state. While she was there, she covered many stories that made national news and she reported for MSNBC, CNN and the Weather Channel. Her work was also featured on NBC's "Today." She uncovered how a local school district overpaid their outgoing superintendent by tens of thousands of dollars. After her report, the administrator returned the money and the state launched a district-wide audit, which uncovered hundreds of thousands of misused taxpayer dollars. She also extensively covered the massive flooding and numerous tornadoes that struck the state.
Lauren loved the beauty of the Natural State, but she's a true Texas girl at heart. She's a graduate of Boerne High School and a proud TCU Horned Frog. She also reported in Wichita Falls, Texas and has worked behind the scenes in Dallas-Fort Worth.
Lauren loves traveling and exploring the Hill Country. She's a college football fan and enjoys cheering on the Spurs. She can't get enough Tex-Mex food and she likes spending time with friends and family.
