San Antonio-born native Jacqueline Ortiz is News 4 WOAI's weekend anchor and a reporter.

Jacqueline came to the station in July of 1998. She's worked all over the state of Texas, beginning her career in Waco at the ABC Affiliate. After working in Sherman, Austin and Dallas/Fort Worth she came home to stay.

Jacqueline's honors include a Gracie Allen Award and Emmy Nomination for a news series where she spent 24-hours behind bars in the Bexar County Women's Jail. She has also been recognized for her excellence in reporting crime news by the San Antonio Crime Coalition. She was featured in the national magazine COMMUNIQUE for business Professionals of America.

A National Honor Society Graduate of Southside High School in San Antonio, Jacqueline is the third oldest of eleven children. A Baylor University Graduate and a letterman of the Baylor track & field team, Jacqueline still enjoys running.

Jacqueline and her husband Ryan have two children who keep them busy.
