Humberto “Humbie” Cervera is a reporter/producer for News 4 WOAI.
He graduated from Marshall High School and received his bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Cervera got his first taste of journalism at News 4 WOAI as an intern. He then moved to his first paying job in Laredo, where he began working for the top-rated station in the market, KGNS. After a few months, he worked his way up to the Monday through Friday shift. It was almost two years later that he landed back where it all started, News 4 WOAI.
Cervera and his wife, Lauren, have one dog together, Sadie, and enjoy living in the Alamo City.
When not working, he is hanging around the house watching televised sporting events.
