hey Taurus the word is delicacy. A delicatessen serves sandwiches. BTW Menudo looks and smells like poo. Gross.

Salas makes the best menudo

Most of us have evolved, others are in poor health and rest enjoyed the best menudo.

What some people may call gross others might consider a delicatessen. Eat what you like, it's your life and you control it so who gives a rats azz what anyone else thinks.

These are the only ones up there because before they are put up to a vote people email nominations.

Why is it that these are the only places put up for a vote? I personally think Nichas on Roosevelt has the best Menudo, so I won't be voting.

The best menudo is no longer made. It was made by Pete Bernal at his bar on Culebra Street. But he died in the late 1960's and his secret recipe went with him. He cut all the tripe in small bite size pieces. Very tasty.

Actually the best menudo I ever tasted was in Connecticut where it is called pepper pot soup. Man that was good, not greasy at all.
