SAN ANTONIO - In the mood to watch the Spurs, the NFL playoffs, or maybe a bowl game? This week we take you to the best sports bar in San Antonio.

We asked for your nominations -- and the response has been overwhelming. San Antonio loves its sports bars! We narrowed it down to the top four...

The WOAI.com voters have spoken. San Antonio’s favorite is Shenanygans Sports Bar.

“I want to thank everyone for voting. We have a lot of loyal customers. I'm happy they could go online and help us out,” said general manager Sara Hartman.

So what makes Shenanygans special?

“We do a lot of events every evening,” Hartman told News 4 WOAI. “We have a lot of DJs – Wednesday through Saturday, a billiards room, a full kitchen, and a beautiful patio – and our staff’s awesome!”

They also have karaoke nights! And with 13 TV, you can be sure that whatever game you want to watch, they’ll have it on. Open since November of 2009, Shenanygansis near Prue Road on Babcock Road on the Northwest Side. They’re open seven days a week.

This is a freakin' joke. We were supposed to be voting on the best SPORTS BAR in San Antonio. However, we were given a list of 3 lounges and only one sports bar (Fatso's) and then the "winner" (the loungiest of the lounges) goes on to explain how many special event nights, DJ's nights and karaoke nights they have that take precedence over any SPORTS that may be on TV! You go to a SPORTS BAR like Bikini's or Tilted Kilt and do you see DJ's and karaoke??? No, you see and HEAR SPORTS. Shenanygans...is...not...a...SPORTS BAR!

the top 4 kinda suck. anywho, have fun wasting money out there. i will stick to going to legend's or watching the games i can't see there at home.

Shenanygans Sports Bar and lounge is great!!It now has a billiards room, an awesome patio and 12 TV's which are ALWAYS on sports!!If the tv's were off it was due to a special circumstance. The food is amazing and the red headed chef girl has the best smile.You can tell she enjoys her job...

Two headlines on the same page,..."Vote for the best sports bar in San Antonio" right next to "Ride along with the DWI patrol as they search for drunks". How about pulling people over right after they leave the "Sports" Bar at closing time. That might cut down on the "searching" AND wrong way drivers. The BEST sports bar in San Antonio is your living room. That won't put an end to stabbings and shootings,(drunks will be drunks), but it will lower the number of drunks on the road.

Considering Fatso's is the only sports bar listed, I guess you have to go with them. The rest are lounges with a couple TVs on the walls. Doesn't make it a sports bar. Neither does having "sports bar" in your name and then showing all your TVs being turned off in your website photos (Shenanygans).

KENNEDY'S in Stone Oak. It's all about the FANS. They love sports and show it every week. Few too many Steeler fans, but that happens everywhere...Best wings in town. Tv and heaters on the patio to keep the smokers happy..It gets my vote!!
