@Ariach912- Theatre educationin any form is good. When we enrich the lives of children, no matter what level, we are nourturing youth to appreciate the Arts. The Woodlan Academy for the Performing Arts operated under many staff memebers, including Jonathan Peenington. However, he was not the ONLY camp instructor. In fact, many camp directors who taught at the Woodlawn with Pennington Productions remained faithful to the Woodlawn and still there. So, the program is still in tact and in my opinion, much better since Pennington Prodcutions disolved.

Ariach912- Please research your hasty comments before you post them. Did you know that Pennington Productions had been embezzeling money form his own company and former partners? Rather that go through the public humliliation of making the it known to the public, he was asked to resigned. The new Woodlawn is striving to become a front runner in professional theatre and youth education programs. get your facts together

Isn't this the Woodlawn Theatre's first year of Summer Camps as Woodlawn Theatricals and not as Pennington Productions, the company they ousted from the theater? How can they be on the Best Summer Camp list without ever having done a summer camp before? Good reporting, WOAI!!!

CAMP GUADALUPE, the multidisciplinary art camp at the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center is the best! With the new themes each week and super talented teachers, I think the participants will be stimulated and have fun!
