SAN ANTONIO – It’s hot! We need ice cream. We need it now! So, we asked you who you think has the BEST ice cream in San Antonio.

Last year Brindles Awesome Ice Creams was chosen as San Antonio’s favorite. It was extremely close! Just one vote was the margin that put Brindles on top. Amy’s was second.

This year, we again received thousands of submissions. But we narrowed it down to the following top 4:

AND THE WINNER IS...

Amy's Ice Creams

That's right. Amy's came out on top this year.

Manager Drew Garza thinks they stand out because the products are all natural - no artificial colors or sweeteners.

We can't wait to try some of their flavors, including Mexican Vanilla, Belgian Chocolate, Coffee Oreo, and Rootbeer Float.

Congratulations, Amy's. Way to go.

Hello everyone this is jo im a manager at marble slab by brooks city base across the street from heb we do make all of our ice cream and cones fresh daily.We're all super super excited to be nominated by WOAI and thank you very much San Antonio!!

Brindles....if you like frost bit ice cream. ewww. gimme Amy's any day and Da Vinci Gelato over all of them.

Howdy Y'all! This is Aaron from Amy's Ice Creams. I can assure you all that all the ice cream shops listed make homemade ice cream! Brindles and Amy's are made right in here in Texas! I'm not sure about Marble Slab and Cold Stone but I do know we all make our own super premium ice cream! We're just super excited to be nominated! Thank you WOAI and thank you San Antonio!

Charlie50 I agree with you too bad they couldn't include Blue Bell Ice Cream but then again most of these places do sell the stuff so in away it is like still saying Blue Bell is the best no matter who serves it!
