Clinical Trials of Texas, Inc. (CTT) is a local clinical research company that specializes in helping develop new medical treatments in many different fields of medicine.  Research studies can be a great alternative to standard treatment options for common medical conditions.  Volunteers who qualify to participate receive diagnostic testing, one-on-one care with a board-certified physician, compensation for time and travel as well as the potential for treatment of their medical condition utilizing the latest therapies.   The staff at CTT consists of trained professionals who provide excellent care and service to all study participants.  Local residents of San Antonio and surrounding communities  who either have used a treatment that was ineffective or do not have the means to get the necessary care and treatment required, may find that participating in a research study at CTT is a great option.

Medical clinical research studies are an important part of the approval process required by the Food and Drug Administration of the United States for new medications and therapies being developed by pharmaceutical and device companies.  All medications must be thoroughly tested in clinical trials to show that they are both safe and effective.  These studies are closely monitored by the FDA and Institutional Review Boards who ensure that participants are treated ethically and that testing is conducted in a safe and prudent manner.  Whether participants receive treatment or not for their medical condition, all participants will be well cared for by the physicians and staff of CTT.  Additionally, participants may receive compensation for their time and travel expenses while participating in a clinical trial at CTT.

Clinical Trials of Texas, Inc. is dedicated to providing excellent services to the community of San Antonio.  All study opportunities are listed on the CTT website at SAresearch.com.  People who are interested in applying for a study at CTT can easily apply at SAresearch.com or by simply calling (210) 949-0122.  A research professional will inform volunteers of the study requirements and whether or not they qualify to participate.  Additionally, volunteers can choose to be contacted for future studies that they may qualify for.  CTT makes the application process easy and strives to make a volunteer’s experience positive.

CTT is located in the northwest portion of San Antonio in the Southwest Texas Medical Center. CTT is a quality Site Management Organization (SMO) that contracts with research physicians who are experienced with federal regulations and Good Clinical Practices.  Local physicians that work with CTT provide excellent patient care and medical oversight as volunteers participate in studies.   The safety and care of research participants is their top priority.

Patient visits are conducted at CTT, physician’s office or in hospitals depending on requirements and design of the study. Our facility has five private exam rooms, a private waiting area, dedicated lab and administrative offices for coordinators, study nurses, and staff.  All medical equipment at CTT is calibrated and/or inspected by an authorized outside vendor on at least an annual basis, and CTT adheres to all OSHA standards including biohazard collection and removal.

Coming soon to CTT is a new Healthy Study facility.  Healthy studies do not target a specific medical condition, but rather require the participation of relatively healthy volunteers.  Healthy studies can be a great way for volunteers to earn money by donating their time and completing the study requirements.  To learn more about healthy studies coming to CTT, call 949-0122 or visit their website at SAresearch.com.
