SAN ANTONIO -- A local businessman is making one San Antonio family's Christmas wish come true this holiday season.

Justo Tijerina recently wrote to radio DJ Xavier of The Beat 98.5, explaining how his parents couldn't pay their electricity bill and were spending their nights in a cold home.

After hearing Justo's story, Don Rackler with Jon Wayne Heating and Air decided to dust off his Santa's sleigh and use it to bring a little holiday cheer.

"I know how it is. I've been broke in my life," explained Rackler. "I know when you need a handout. It's a nice thing to do, and that's why we're here today."

Rackler decided to pay the Tijerinas' $1100 utility bill to get the power turned back on at their Southwest Side home. He said it is simply the right thing to do.

"I think everyone is supposed to be giving," Rackler said. "Of course, this is Christmas. This is the reason for the season. It's the reason people should be giving. That's just my nature."

It's good to hear that there are still people willing to give during these times.
