Caveat emptor! Beware purchasing or getting repairs from this advertiser. A simple job can balloon into an expensive bill!

From the GOVERNMENT? How about thanking me -- it's MY MONEY. It's a gift from me, even thought I thought that gifts were voluntary, right?

Good to know that this tax credit exists. Glad someone is paying attention and letting people know about all of the ways to save money right now. Too bad my house is already up to spec.

Willow, check the CPS and SAWS websites for rebates and such, as well as the energy star website. Also Texas had a Memorial Day tax free weekend on energy star appliances, if you can wait that long. (I recently moved to an older home, that is why I've paid attention to this stuff.)

Doesn't help me any. House is already an "Energy Star" house. And the bills keep going up and up each month!!! Jumped a $1.10 last month!! Could use a new energy star washer and dryer though can we get some money for that?

It's summer an hot as hell...who wants to voluntarily shutdown their working air conditioning system for one or more days to upgrade their furnace and outside compressor unit when the daytime temperature is likely to be around 100 degrees every day? When it's optional this is the kind of work you schedule to be done when it's winter and the daytime temperature here is in the 70's.

Guess we will be still sitting here with our box fans blowing... In order to save money you have to have money!!!!! When are these fools going to get around to understanding that people don't have jobs therefore don't have any to spend!!!

Is this the A/C version of "Cash for Clunkers"??? How about just sending me $1,500.00 and let me stimulate the economy of my choice. Amazing how they can just keep printing money and throwing it around. C'mon 2012. If we make it.
