The San Antonio City Council is considering an ordinance that would put a stop to early-morning and late-night construction. On Monday the ordinance was sent to the council for final approval. If passed, it will limit the hours when loud construction can be done near homes. Builders who need to work outside permitted hours can get a special waiver. If they get a waiver, they must notify people living within 300-feet of the work zone three-days in advance. City Council is expected to vote on the ordinance in a few weeks.
