An employee of the Kickapoo Indian Tribe of Texas, who stole tens of thousands of dollars from their coffers, is going to federal prison. Eduardo Villarreal of San Antonio worked in the accounting department, and wrote a string of checks to his wife. He then deposited them in his own bank account. In total, Villarreal got away with nearly $170,000, which came from the tribe's Lucky Eagle casino. A judge has sentenced him to just about two years in federal prison for embezzlement.
