Prison Term For Dog Trainer Convicted Of Defrauding Veterans

A San Antonio man is off to federal prison for nearly ten-years for defrauding veterans and the federal government of more than $1.5 million. Bradley Croft, 49-year-old owner of Universal K-9, was convicted in 2019 of wire fraud, identity theft, money laundering, and filing false tax returns. Croft solicited veterans as students, telling them they could use their GI Bill benefits to pay for his dog-handler's courses, which cost thousands.
