Judge: No In-Person Jury Trials In Bexar County Until At Least April

No in-person civil or criminal jury trials will be held in Bexar County until April 1st at the soonest. Local Administrative Judge Ron Rangel ordered a moratorium on jury trials in March when the coronavirus pandemic came to town. The moratorium has led to a backlog of cases, including the capital murder case of accused cop-killer Otis McKane. Rangel says he won't allow in-person jury trials until health conditions permit them, and he doesn't expect that to happen soon.
