Man Pardoned By Obama Arrested For Federal Drug Charges

The Justice Department says a man who once received a presidential pardon is one of eight suspects now facing federal drug trafficking charges. Officials say 41-year-old Hilario Nieto and seven other suspects were arrested Tuesday and charged with possessing and distributing meth and heroin. Nieto had been arrested in 2004 and sentenced to more than 20-years in federal prison on drug charges. President Barack Obama pardoned him in 2016.
