San Antonio Stock Show Giving $12M To Education

Over $12 million is going towards education thanks to the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo. The grants and scholarships were announced today with Rodeo CEO Cody Davenport saying the cash should help more than 22,000 Texas students.

Since 1984, the Rodeo has committed more than $223 million to serve its mission.

Approximately 11,000 Texas college students have benefited from a San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Scholarship. Approximately 1,500 active scholars attend Texas colleges and universities today. The funds are raised through events as well as the annual Stock Show & Rodeo and are awarded in the form of scholarships, grants, endowments, junior livestock auctions, student western art auction, calf scramble program and show premiums.

The 2021 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo will be held February 11-28 at the Freeman Coliseum/AT&T Center Fairgrounds
