Eight NEISD Students May Be Expelled Over THC In Vape Pens

Vape Pens Neatly Lined Up

Eight high school students in the North East ISD face expulsion because of the district's new policy about vaping. The policy states that any student who's caught with a vape pen and appears to be high will have his pen confiscated and tested for THC. A positive test means a recommended expulsion. NEISD officials have confiscated 56 vapes so far this school year, nine of which have been tested. All but one tested positive. The eight students with the THC-positive vapes may be expelled as a result.
