A man is dead and three people were hurt after a pickup ran a red light and hit a compact car at SW Military Drive and Commercial Avenue. The victims were trapped in the wreckage and the Jaws of Life were needed to cut them out. One person died at the scene. Three other victims were rushed to a hospital. Two people in the truck fled the scene on foot, but were later caught.
