Six Killed in Kerr County Plane Crash

A twin engine Beechcraft BE58 crashed this morning as it was making an approach to the Kerrville Municipal Airport, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Kerr County Sheriff Rusty Hierholzer spoke with 1200 WOAI news on the scene.

"A twin engine plane crashed, it went down this morning on approach to the Kerrville Airport,"

DPS Sergeant Orlando Moreno says a twin-engine plane with six on-board went down this morning near Kerrville. All six aboard the plane died.

Nobody on the ground was hurt.

The FAA says the plane took off this morning from West Houston Airport.

The NTSB is on its way to the site.

"It crashed in a very rugged area in Kerr County," Hierholzer said.
