you're right, a job is a job, I don't care if you have to scrape chit out of the toilets at McDonald's or Chuck E Cheese's if it puts food in kids tummy, a roof over their heads, and clothes on their backs then you do it. However, is it really cost effective for the city if we're actually paying them to stay here and provide those jobs to begin with? I sure wouldn't mind footing the bill for a mother to be able to stay at home a few months out of the summer, instead of her working a minimum wage job, scraping crap for a living, and let's face it, it's almost always the mother who gets the minimum wage job doing that sort of stuff, in order to make ends meet. Why not just pay her to stay home during the summer months, or even the father if the mother makes more, and know what their children are doing at all times of the day? A job is a job yes, but at what cost to society as a whole?

This seems like a good thing to me I salute the company for staying here in San Antonio.

So what if they pay minimum wage. Today a job is a job. Count your lucky stars you have one! And 300 more people will have one that you won't have to support with your almighty tax dollars.

The article does say how much people earn doing these jobs. They could be minimum wage jobs.

I'm not trying to be ugly, but how is this helping San Antonio? Didn't USAA get the same type of incentives and then left and is now coming back? Or am I a little off my rocker with my recollection?
