Reported by News 4 WOAI's Crystal MazzaSAN ANTONIO -- Gas prices have fallen for the second week in a row. But it's not all good news when it comes to paying at the pump.
News 4 WOAI found a number of San Antonio gas stations the state says are ripping you off.
When you fill up at the pump, you want your money's worth. Problem is, many drivers are getting taken for a ride. This month alone, the state shutdown more than a dozen gas pumps across the city for not shelling out the right amount of gas. In just the last week, 8 gas stations were busted for faulty pumps.
At the Quick Pick on Blanco, the tickers started counting your cost before dispensing gas. The Valero Corner Store on Wurzbach was also flagged. Officials also found a faulty pump at the Triple S Express on Culebra, which stunned driver Martin Watson.
"Why didn't you tell me that before I started pumping my gas?" Watson asked.
News 4 WOAI tried talking to the gas station owners. They would only say most of their pumps have since been fixed and are now working properly.
