Perhaps it is my advanced years, Lenny. In my day, an old car was usually referred to as an old bomb. Naturally, our congregation doesn't sell real bombs! Lord have mercy! Besides, Christian groups seldom have real bombs anymore. Because of our alliance with our friends the Jews in Israel, we have advanced missiles with nuclear warheads. Once you know Satan is on the way, it's not a good idea to remain unarmed.

I believe this is a fine time to reveal our congregation's plan to raise funds. We have obtained a large assortment of old bombs that we have for sale. Each is priced at $2500. The Federal Government in God forsaken Washington, D.C. will pay $4500 for each of these gems as part of it's plan to save humanity. A tax deductible reciept showing a donation of $2500 will be issued to each purchaser, as the cars have no real value. It is perfect. The Church gets badly needed funds. The buyer gets free money from the thieving government in God forsaken Washington, D.C. and then gets a nice tax deduction to go with it. Everyone wins, except the Federal Government, but since God hates the Federal Government, every blow against them is like a ticket to Heaven. Sometimes, Satan is his own worst enemy.

My car is not a clunker. It's a state of the art, gas guzzling, XM equipped, huge 8 cyl magnum SUV that I use to run little liberal clown girly clam-shaped type cars like priuses off the road. Liberals hate SUVs, therefore they resort to what they do best, name calling. Democrat/socialists can take my SUV the same way they can take my guns. Long live the great conservative State of Texas.

im not saying i dont contribute at all, i just try not to put that much pollution in the air. there are people that want a new car that gets better gas mileage and thorws out less pollution. at least they try, thats the real solution. unless we can "discover" some new pollution free fuel, the best thing as americans can do is try. if you like classic cars that use at lot gas, thats cool. just dont drive older cars that smoke more than cheech and chong.

Metal, Unless you walk to work, live in a forest and eat nothing but tree branches. You are part of the problem too. You ever see a VIA Bus spew emissions in the air? How about cops sitting around in their squad cars with the engine idling for long periods of time. I didn't make this problem, everyone has contributed in one way or another. I will continue to leave my carbon footprint, just as those before me and those after me will continue to do. PS. There is no solution. Hybrid cars, electric cars, alternative fuel cars all leave pollution of some kind. Just like the war on drugs, the "Go Green" program is a government joke!!!
